Community Meals
Trinity Methodist Church has provided free meals to the homeless and needy since 1998.
Over the years the number of people who have benefitted has grown, along with a large band of volunteers. Until 2020, meals were provided on Christmas Day & Boxing Day. Upward of 120 roast dinners could be served at each meal, with waitress service to make people feel special. Everyone is provided with sandwiches to take away, and access to donated food and clothing.
The meals have been funded entirely by donations, and over the years God has always provided exactly the right amount of money!
Youth
Trinity has a thriving group of children aged 1-18. There are 38 on the register from a range of ethnic backgrounds. The senior children are encouraged to explore their faith, as well as prepare and take part in All Age Worship.

The younger children enjoy singing and a range of craft activities, and participating in worship at their own level.
Every year since 2021, a group of our young people have gone to 3 Generate which is the National Children's and Youth's assembly of the Methodist Church. Over 2,000 young people meet for the weekend at NEC Birmingham for worship, Bible study, prayer activities Sports and loads of fun! 2026 saw the group of young people expand from across the Southend& Leigh Circuit.
